Larry Page & Sergey Brin

Lawrence Edward "Larry" Page was born March 26, 1973 in Lansing, Michigan. His father was a professor of computer science and artificial intelligence at Michigan State University and one of the University of Michigan's first computer science Ph.D graduates whilst his mother was computer programming teacher at Michigan State University. He has one brother who was co-founder of eGroups which later sold to Yahoo! for roughly $500,000.
Sergey Brin was born in Moscow, Russia on August 21st 1973, his parents were both mathematicians who graduated from the Moscow State University. In 1979 when Sergey was six years his family emigrated to the USA. He began his graduate studies in Computer Science at Stanford University on a graduate fellowship from the National Science Foundation. He earned his master's degree in August 1995 well ahead of schedule in the process of his Ph.D. studies.
They are both co-founders of the Google search engine, which they famously started together whilst at Stanford University whilst writing a dissertation on exploring the mathematical properties of the World Wide Web and understanding its link structure as a huge graph. This soon became a research project named 'Backrub', later 'PageRank' was developed and based largely upon the 'BackRub' project with 'PageRank' now being a large factor in how Google ranks web pages
Google now gives jobs to nearly 20,00 around the world with a yearly revenue of roughly $16billion and net income around $4billion. It has been dentified multiple times as Fortune Magazine's #1 Best Place to Work. Both are reportedly to be worth $18.5billion, which makes them the 5th richest people in America and the 26th richest in the world.
