ISDN

ISDN stands for intergrated services digital network, this is an international standard for sending voice and data over normal or digital telephone lines. One ISDN line supports data rates of 64K, most telephone companies will offer two lines, called B-Channels, which can be used on their own or can be bonded together to give a transfer speed of 128K per second.
