FTP

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol and is a method for transfering files over the Internet it will also ensure the integrity of the data, with some remote FTp servers you have to log in and identify yourself. Once this has been done you can then execute simlpe commands, list directories and copy files to and from the remote server.
