Clickstream

Clickstream is the virtual trail left by a computer as it surfs the Internet. The Clickstream is a record of every web site a user visits, how long they spend on each page and in what order the pages are veiwed in. From the records you can even tell an email address of an email that a user recieves. This information is valuable to ISPS, market researchers and advertising companies. Most ISPS keep records of a users activities and so do some web sites. An ISP can be asked to provide a users clickstream in a court of law, if it will help in a trial.
